The Museum of the History and Geography of Innovation

About a year ago, while visiting the Brooklyn Museum in New York, I had an idea for a new museum unlike any I have seen anywhere in the world: a museum of the history and geography of innovation. Named after Luca Cavalli-Sforza's book The History and Geography of Human Genes, its pavilions would have the shape of the various continents, its floors successively chronicling the history of invention and innovation around the world, from stone age inventions in the bottom floor to recent inventions at the top, designed in a way to allow floors to be added as history progresses. The museum would allow visitors to get a unique grasp of the geographical and historical relationships which favored particular inventions. Seems like a project to partner with Jared Diamond for.
