A number of lead tablets with Iberian writing have been found in the region of Alcoy in Alicante, Spain. Although many widely divergent translations have been offered, no consensus translation is available --they remain undeciphered to this day. This wiki aims to create a collaborative effort to decipher them.

1. BASK IS THE NAME GIVEN TO THE BASQUES, or might mean "from the mountains".

7. SALIR may be silver, as it's found on silver coins from Iltirta as in 'Iltirta-salir-ban' --'ban' means 'of'; think 'van' in Dutch or 'von' in German (ref. Iberos by Jose R Pellon)

9. BASIRTIR was a merchant from Emporion (in Catalonia) around 200 BC.
