Tactile body wash, shampoo and conditioner bottles

Page history last edited by Alex Backer, Ph.D. 2 months, 3 weeks ago

How many vision-challenged people find themselves struggling to tell the body wash from the shampoo and conditioner in the shower when they're not wearing their glasses? Years ago, I came up with the solution: bottles that have a symbol etched into the side of the bottle so that they can be identified by touch. A sort of braille. The body wash could be a human body, complete with arms and legs, which would disambiguate them from shampoo and conditioner. The shampoo one could be a head with curly hair. The conditioner one could be a head with long straight hair. This would be especially useful for hotels and home rentals, where guests are not used to the bottles and thus need help identifying which is which.
