How come large companies with huge budgets, large profits and thousands of employees innovate so slowly? How come most of their innovation comes from smaller companies they buy?
Complacency makes large companies less prone to innovate. Somebody at Google probably knows that CPA is a better way to go than CPC, but they have such a large revenue base from their CPC business that they are unlikely to shake the ground more than in baby steps. Which leaves room for innovation open for companies like Adapt Technologies or Snap.
