A-Tribute-to-Robert-Frost

Some say the world will end in fire,

some say in ice.

From what I've tasted of desire

I hold with those who favor fire.

But if it had to perish twice,

I think I know enough of hate

To say that for destruction ice

Is also great

And would suffice.

I hope though that my world will die of age

Content at life well lived with pride

Fires and ice survived in stride

For we're no rocks and freeze and thaw

Spell cracks and break-up but no more.

To me they are but life itself

If not for ups and downs then what.

If change is not the stuff of life

Then life is not the stuff of dreams.

I'd rather dream and laugh and cry

Than cruise life calm without a strife.
